Our Thoughts are with you |
April 30, 2008 |
Our hearts go out to your and your family. We cannot begin to imagine what it is like to lose a child. We recently lost our father/grandfather and the pain seems to be unbearable at times.
Our son is playing on a ball team that has Justin's name on the sleeve of their jerseys. Thank you so much for the donation to our ball team in memory of your son. We will share this web site with our son and daughter.
Know that our thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family. I truly believe that some day we will meet our loved ones that have passed on before us. Until that time we must honor their memory and remember all of the precious moments we had with them.
May God Bless You.

Our Sympathy |

Just a few days ago, my 9-year-old son was playing in the woods behind our house when he found a heart-shaped helium balloon with an attached memory card for Justin. It was resting peacefully on the ground, in a quiet sunlit spot. We brought it inside and looked up this website to learn more about Justin's life. It was difficult explaining the circumstances to my kids, but it is something all parents want to instill in their children. When my husband was 23, he lost his mother due to an accident , which was not alcohol-related, but devastating just the same. The pain lessons somewhat, but the loss never leaves.
We will re-release another balloon with the attached card in Justin's honor. I hope it brings you some peace to know that others feel your pain and care.

Hey Justin. Our first tournament was this weekend. I had the BEST 2 games ever. Played 2nd base and made a double play and hit the ball and got on base everytime. Unfortunately the games that were supposed to be today were cancelled due to the rain. Thanks for watching over me, it is helping
Please continue to be my guardian angel. Thanks!

Hey |

Hey Justin! Just got home from baseball and I took a hit to my lip. It's okay, just a bit swollen. My mom told me that today has been 3 years and I told a lot of my friends in school today and we talked about you at lunch time today. I'm going to write down your web site to share with some friends. Hopefully we can pass this on and none of my friends will ever drink and drive. I hope your family is doing okay today. I'm sure it has to be very hard. Be close to them, I hope you can give them a sign to let them know your okay. Zach

I remember |
April 17, 2008 |
Hi,
Once again, I have been compelled to write to you. I remember when this tragic accident happened. My son is one year older then Justin would be now. While I don't know you or Justin, but I am a mother, a bond of unbelieveable power. I can't imagine your pain and I am sure it has not eased but taken it's soulful place in your life.
I have often heard people say if something that had occured would help just one person then it was all worth it.....I would like you to know you may have helped my family. I sent this to MY son and he also remembered when this happened BUT here is the important part.......he doesn't drink and drive. His own cousin was also in a tragic accident in 2004, from Massillon, left him in a coma and residual brain damage. While alchohol was not involved THIS time, his cousin survived, barely. My son sat at his bed side every day, lost his job and his zest until the day his cousin opened his eyes and pointed. In December of last year, the same cousin was pulled over for driving under the influence. My son is now once again, mentoring him into realizing how he is tempting fate. We will always pray for you and your family and for Justin's memory. Thank you and God bless you.

Sending love & prayers |
February 13, 2008 |
I'm sending hugs, love & prayers from one broken hearted mother to another.
Life can bring us to the ground and keep us there sometimes. That's how it feels to lose a child. I lost my son on October 20, 2006 and I'm forever changed because of it.
There is not a day that I don't cry and beg God to help me understand how this happened..... why must any mother give up a child? How can we be expected to go on and live beyond that moment?
I'm so sorry, so very sorry that you're suffering this sorrow. I'm sorry for each and every mother who grieves.... the pain can be so unbearable.
I'll say a prayer for you, asking God to send his love and his mercy to you to help you endure what can't be endured.
Love, hugs, prayers,
jane

Beautiful Boy |
January 23, 2008 |
The time we had,
I treasure each day,
To dream of you,
Each night I pray.
The joy you gave,
In every kiss,
Those sparkling eyes,
Your hugs I miss.
I wish I'd known,
How time flies,
But I wish I'd never,
Learned about goodbyes.
I send you peace,
I send you joy,
I send you love,
My beautiful boy.
